Lavro has been hand making driftboats since early 70's. We have developed our boats over the years by testing and retesting each design. Then, using the oldest and most reliable method of fiberglass manufacturing we hand-lay up to 21 layers of 24-oz. wove roving to produce a solid, durable hull that will last for years. The all-one-piece body construction is superior to wooden and aluminum boats in that there are no rivets or nails to loosen or welds to break. Better than other glass boats because we do not use balsa wood, foam or other core materials in the bottom which can absorb moisture if punctured. In fact we offer a lifetime warranty against bottom punctures, leaks or wearing out on all of our driftboats.
